President Paul Perez led his final membership meeting with a wrap-up year in review. He expressed what an incredible year and an incredible experience it has been!

He shared how we did this year as a Club. On the District level, each Club sets goals in four categories. It was a Banner Year for the Rotary Club of Prior Lake:

Foundation Annual Programs Fund:

3. Stillwater Sunrise- $15,142= $275.31

2. Lakeville- $34,021= $365.82

1. Prior Lake- $25,373= $378.70

Polio Plus Giving:

3. Northfield- $4310.00

2. Roseville- $5838.50

1. Prior Lake- $12,359.80

3. Faribault- 70 to 78: 8

2. Winona- 71 to 79: 8

According to Kyle, Assistant District Governor, no Club has ever ended up #1 in all four categories. Wow would that be an accomplishment! But we are a premier Club beyond that.

  • Two hugely successful fundraisers
  • 9 service activities
  • 15 social events
  • Hosted Group Study Exchange from Sweden and Exchange Student Jan
  • 5 members involved at the District level

The first Annual PL Rotary Lakie awards ceremony was held recognizing Rotarians. Congratulations, or condolences, to all the award winners.

Thank you to my fellow Board members for helping reach these goals and accomplishments, and for all Club members that contributed and supported me and the Club.

A special thank you to my family, Susan, Anthony and Anna, for their support throughout the year and especially to Susan for walking with me these last 12 months. It was very special to have them in attendance this morning.

The gavel is officially passed on to Bill Schult as the 2014-2015 President of the Rotary Club of Prior Lake
