At the Wednesday, November 27th Prior Lake Rotary meeting, local photographer John Noltner joined us to talk about his multimedia project: A Peace of My Mind.

John is a freelance photographer based here in Minnesota, and he started this project by asking people the simple question: What does peace mean to you?  Out of this question, a multimedia art project that includes a website, blog, podcasts, a book and a travelling exhibit was formed.  John has talked to people from all over the world to get their views on peace, and some of the obstacles they've overcome to work towards peace.  This includes Holocaust survivors and Ela Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's granddaughter, who wrote the foreword to John's book: A Peace of My Mind.
