Gateway Park - this is our park... literally.  In 2005, all Rotary Clubs were asked to do a special project as part of Rotary International's centennial year. The Rotary Club of Prior Lake worked in cooperation with the City of Prior Lake to install a rain garden and fountain adjacent to Lakefront Plaza.  We donated two "Rotary" benches which face the fountain and Prior Lake. The area was named "Rotary Gateway to Lakefront Park" in recognition of the Club's financial and service contributions.

In 2008, as part of the Club's 30th anniversary of being chartered, the Club also purchased and planted 600 spring flower bulbs in Gateway Park, and purchased a picnic table. So this is more our park than in name only.  With not only our money, time and sweat behind this park, as well as our name, we need to maintain the park as it is a reflection on our Club.
